This Returns & Refunds Policy explains the conditions under which products may be returned and refunds may be issued, depending on the customer’s location and applicable law.
This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through www.rakishangel.com and This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Türkiye & European Union)

Consumers located in Türkiye and the European Union have a statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of delivery, without providing any reason, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify Rakish Angel of their decision within the 14-day withdrawal period.

1.1 Permitted Inspection

The product may be handled and inspected only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as would be permitted in a physical retail store.
Inspection does not include:

  • Prolonged handling
  • Wearing or carrying
  • Exposure to body heat or moisture
  • Any use altering the structure, surface, or form of the product

Any handling beyond this scope shall be considered use.

1.2 Diminished Value

The customer shall be liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling beyond permitted inspection.
For leather goods in particular, any signs of use — including but not limited to:

  • Creasing
  • Patina development
  • Odor
  • Surface marks
  • Deformation

constitute use beyond inspection and may result in a reduced refund, up to the full value of the product, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Rakish Angel reserves the right to inspect returned products to assess any loss in value.

1.3 Return Shipping Costs (Türkiye & EU)

  • Türkiye:
    In case of statutory withdrawal, return shipping costs are borne by Rakish Angel, unless otherwise permitted by mandatory law.
  • European Union:
    In case of statutory withdrawal, return shipping costs are borne by the customer, provided that this obligation has been clearly communicated before the conclusion of the contract.
    Customs duties, import taxes, or similar charges paid to public authorities are not refunded by Rakish Angel, as such charges are imposed by third parties and are outside our control.

1.4 Withdrawal During Shipment

A withdrawal notice submitted after the order has been dispatched does not entitle the customer to a refund unless the product is successfully returned to Rakish Angel in resalable condition.
Refusal of delivery alone does not constitute a valid return.
Refunds are issued only after the returned product has been received and inspected by Rakish Angel, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

2. Voluntary Right of Withdrawal (Outside Türkiye & European Union)

For customers located outside Türkiye and the European Union, Rakish Angel voluntarily offers a limited right of withdrawal as a commercial policy.
This right does not constitute a statutory right and is granted at Rakish Angel’s discretion.

2.1 Conditions

For voluntary withdrawal outside Türkiye & the EU:

  • Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery
  • All return requests are subject to approval by Rakish Angel

Products must be:

  • Unused beyond permitted inspection
  • Unworn, undamaged, and unaltered
  • Returned in original condition and original packaging

The same inspection and diminished value rules described in Section 1 apply.
Any use beyond permitted inspection may void the right of withdrawal or result in a reduced refund corresponding to the loss in value.

2.2 Costs (International Returns)

For returns outside Türkiye & the European Union, the customer is solely responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • Any associated fees

These costs are non-refundable.

2.3 Withdrawal After Dispatch (International Orders)

For international orders outside Türkiye and the European Union, a withdrawal request submitted after dispatch does not entitle the customer to a refund unless the product is successfully returned to Rakish Angel.
Refusal of delivery, failure to accept shipment, or abandonment of the parcel does not constitute a valid return.
If the product cannot be returned due to customs restrictions, refusal, or non-collection, no refund shall be issued.

3. Defective or Non-Conforming Products (Statutory Rights)

Nothing in this policy limits the customer’s statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming products.
If a product is defective, damaged, or does not conform to the contract at the time of delivery, the customer may be entitled to remedies under applicable consumer protection laws, including:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Price reduction
  • Full refund

These rights:

  • Are independent of the right of withdrawal
  • May apply even if the product has been used
  • Are subject to statutory time limits (e.g. up to 2 years in Türkiye & EU)

4. Damaged or Defective Products Upon Delivery

If the parcel arrives visibly damaged (torn, crushed, or opened), the customer must:

  • Refuse delivery and request a damage report from the carrier

OR

  • Document the condition with clear photographs before opening the package

Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Photos of the shipping label
  • A carrier damage report, where possible

Failure to comply may affect eligibility for a remedy.

5. Non-Eligible Returns

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • The return request is submitted outside the applicable withdrawal period as defined in Sections 1 and 2 above, depending on the customer’s location
  • The product has been used beyond permitted inspection
  • The product is worn, damaged, altered, or incomplete due to customer use
  • The product is returned without original packaging
  • The product is customized or made-to-order, unless faulty

This section does not apply to statutory rights relating to defective products.

6. Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact us at support@rakishangel.com with your order details.
Returned products must be sent only after receiving return instructions from Rakish Angel.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned product.
Refund timing may vary depending on payment provider and banking procedures.

8. Relationship with Terms & Conditions

This Returns & Refunds Policy shall be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions.
In case of any conflict, mandatory consumer protection laws shall prevail.
Rakish Angel reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of abusive or fraudulent behavior, in accordance with its Terms & Conditions.
