These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of and purchases made through www.rakishangel.com. By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of the site. Any changes to these Terms & Conditions shall not affect orders placed prior to the effective date of such changes.Orders are governed by the Terms & Conditions in effect at the time the order is placed.

2. Products & Craftsmanship

Rakish Angel products are crafted using high-quality materials and artisanal or traditional techniques, depending on the product category.
Due to the nature of handcrafted or limited production:

  • Minor variations in color, texture, or finishing are natural
  • Such variations are not considered defects
  • Product images are representative; slight differences may occur

3. Orders & Payments

All prices are listed in the applicable currency at checkout.
Rakish Angel reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases including but not limited to:

  • Pricing errors
  • Stock availability issues
  • Suspected fraud or payment security concerns

International shipping is offered to selected countries only.
We reserve the right to accept or refuse orders based on destination, shipping regulations, or operational risks.

Rakish Angel reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any order identified as high-risk, fraudulent, abusive, or placed in bad faith.
This includes, but is not limited to, repeated withdrawals, repeated refusal of delivery, or attempts to exploit return policies.

4. Taxes & Import Fees

Prices may include applicable taxes in accordance with Turkish tax regulations. VAT or other applicable indirect taxes may not apply in cases of tax exemption.

For international shipments, customs duties, import taxes, or other charges may be imposed by local authorities or carriers in the destination country. These charges are not included in our prices, are the responsibility of the customer, and are non-refundable. Rakish Angel does not collect, process, or refund such charges.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed within the estimated processing timeframe stated on the product or checkout page. Processing times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Delivery times may vary depending on:

  • Destination
  • Carrier conditions
  • Customs procedures (for international orders)

Rakish Angel is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.
We shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, customs delays, strikes, or force majeure events.

If a delivery is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, or failure to receive the shipment, Rakish Angel shall not be responsible for any resulting loss, unless the refusal is based on a valid statutory right of withdrawal exercised prior to delivery. For clarity, where permitted by applicable consumer protection laws, a statutory right of withdrawal may be exercised prior to delivery by providing a clear withdrawal notice.

Any refusal of delivery following such notice shall be considered a logistical consequence and does not in itself constitute completion of a return or entitlement to a refund.
All shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and associated fees are non-refundable.

If the product is successfully returned to us in resalable condition, the product price may be refunded after deduction of all applicable costs.
If the shipment cannot be returned due to customs restrictions, refusal, or abandonment, no refund shall be issued.

6. Returns & Refunds

6.1 Damaged Upon Delivery

If the parcel arrives visibly damaged (torn, crushed, or opened), the customer must:

  • Refuse delivery and request a damage report from the carrier, or
  • Document the condition with clear photographs before opening the package

Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

If approved, Rakish Angel will offer either a replacement or a full refund of the product price and shipping costs.
Customs duties, import taxes, and similar charges are non-refundable.

6.2 Defective Products

If a product is defective, damaged, or does not conform to the contract at the time of delivery, the customer may be entitled to remedies under applicable consumer protection laws.

Customers are encouraged to notify Rakish Angel of any apparent defects as soon as reasonably possible and, where feasible, within 14 days of delivery, providing clear photographs and a description of the issue.

This notification period does not limit the customer’s statutory rights, which may include, depending on applicable law:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Price reduction
  • Full refund

Statutory remedies:

  • Are independent of the right of withdrawal
  • May apply even if the product has been used
  • Are subject to statutory limitation periods (e.g. up to 2 years in Türkiye & the EU)

Natural variations inherent to handcrafted or artisanal products, including variations in leather texture, color tone, wrinkles, or minor irregularities, are not considered defects.

6.3 User-Related Damage

Damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, exposure to liquids, excessive force, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear is not eligible for return or refund.

6.4 Right of Withdrawal (Türkiye & European Union)

Consumers located in Türkiye and the European Union have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery without providing any reason, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

The product may be handled and inspected only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as permitted in a physical retail store.
Any handling beyond this scope shall be considered use.

Inspection does not include prolonged handling, wearing, carrying, exposure to body heat or moisture, or any use altering the structure, surface, or form of the product.
The customer shall be liable for any diminished value resulting from use beyond permitted inspection.
For certain products, signs of use such as creasing, patina development, odor, surface marks, or deformation may result in a reduced refund up to the full value of the product, in accordance with applicable law.
Return and withdrawal conditions are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

6.5 Voluntary Right of Withdrawal (Outside Türkiye & EU)

For customers outside Türkiye and the European Union, Rakish Angel voluntarily offers a limited right of withdrawal as a commercial policy.
Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery and are subject to approval.
Products must be unused beyond permitted inspection, undamaged, unaltered, and returned in original condition and packaging.

For international returns outside Türkiye & the EU, return shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, and any associated fees are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

6.6 Customized or Made-to-Order Items

Customized or made-to-order items prepared according to the customer’s specific request are non-refundable unless faulty.
This applies regardless of the customer’s location.

7. Warranty

Rakish Angel provides a commercial warranty confirming that products are free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Any visible defects should be reported within 14 business days of delivery.

If a manufacturing defect becomes apparent within six months of purchase, Rakish Angel will assess the issue and offer an appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, the customer’s statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming products, which may apply for longer periods under applicable law.

This warranty does not cover natural leather characteristics, normal wear and tear, scratches, color variation, or damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized repairs.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the intellectual property of Rakish Angel.
No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

9. Use of Website

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with site security or functionality
  • Provide false or misleading information

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rakish Angel shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall deprive the customer of mandatory consumer protection rights granted under the laws of their country of residence, where such laws are applicable.

12. Force Majeure

Rakish Angel shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, carrier disruptions, or customs delays.

13. Right to Update

Rakish Angel reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes shall not affect orders placed prior to their effective date.
